The journey never ends

So as you may have read I was due to go on holiday to Barbados and was having some difficulty in what I should do with my hair. But after spending the day with my sister it really helped. I was having issues with a regime and depended on gel simply because sometimes I didn't know what to do with my hair. So she washed it and deep conditioned it using her all natural amazing products (they will be available for sale very soon). She then twisted with her homemade leave-in, a Shea butter mix and flaxseed gel. Needless to say the results were amazing very defined and moisturised. Guys check out my sisters blog fortheloveofkinks.blogspot

Anyway point is I've realised your natural hair journey never actually ends. I'm still learning about new products and techniques and also understanding how to listen to my hair, it's likes and dislikes. I've just realised my hair prefers butters than
Oils, I still use coconut oil but I use Shea butter first then the coconut oil to seal, my hair needs heavier products to keep it moisturised.

Anyway as for the holiday it was great, I love being in the sun and Barbados has become my second home, great weather, great ppl, great food, what more could I ask for? Whilst out shopping in Bridgetown I also came across a product line called design essentials for natural hair - their natural line is petrolatum, mineral oil, paraffin, silicone and paraben free! And the price wasn't too bad I bought the daily moisturising lotion, the moisturising conditioner and the natural curl stretching cream. I'll use them got a few more weeks then do a review but so far I'm quite happy with them.
